Welcome to our cozy home in beautiful Anchorage, Alaska! This is a 1,140 square foot single family home, whole house rental, in the safe and friendly neighborhood of Jewel Lake. It sports three bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a fenced backyard, full kitchen, dining room, and living room with 62-inch TV. The Mountain room has a king bed with direct half bathroom access, the Husky room has a queen bed, and the Pirate room has two twin beds. Each room has a closet, laundry basket, and trash receptacle.
We can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests and furry friends are welcome (feline and canine with no breed restrictions). Pack-n-Play, plus other baby necessities, are available. We pride ourselves in having numerous amenities including washer and dryer, blackout curtains, free internet and Netflix, and a spacious desk with office supplies plus printer capability perfect for business trips. Fresh bed linens, towels, shower liquids, and general toiletries are available for convenience.
A relaxing stay for our travelers and guests is top priority. The location is unbeatable with easy access to Ted Stevens International airport (Uber or Lyft, anyone?); Seward highway with connections to Girdwood and Homer; and local businesses in walkable distance. If you are unfamiliar with the area we have a “Locals Resources” binder with various restaurant recommendations. We own only this short-stay rental and are easily reachable. Whether you’re here for business or pleasure, you’ll feel right at home!
Safety is very important to us. There are 7 smoke/carbon monoxide detectors throughout the house, fire extinguishers in kitchen and by fireplace, outside cameras (none inside or facing inside), first aid supplies, and an emergency food pack by American Red Cross in pantry. Motion sensor lights are in the hallway and bathrooms for visibility in the dark.
