Summary: The house was very clean when we arrived, but we quickly realized it was dated and needed a little TLC. The biggest (and easy to fix) issues were: the cushions on the deck chairs were moldy, the carpet in the master BR had large and unsightly stains, slow draining shower and no path/pavers to the outdoor shower, which kept us from using it. So, six women had to share one shower for eight days, which wasn't optimal. The W&D are also on different floors. For the amount of money being charged, we expected matching towels and wash cloths, as well as enough of both (there were only four washcloths) for the six guests it sleeps. It might also be helpful to either have a list of where things are located (iron/ironing board, extra towels, laundry basket, etc) or put them all in one place. We tried every door/closet looking for extra towels and finally found them accidentally on the second night. It wouldn't take much money to make it more aesthetically pleasing. My mom was convinced that everything came from the thrift store. There were three wine glasses and none of them matched. That was the running theme...hodge podge. However, there were plenty of plates, bowls and drinking glasses for a large group and it was a nice, matching set! To end on a positive note, the house has most everything you need for your vacation (it could use more beach towels and washcloths), the A/C units work very well and we really enjoyed the large dining room table with plenty of chairs.
