Known as the former estate keepers cottage, Salomons Country Cottage was originally built in the 17th century and has kept its traditional look following its renovations. The cottage has been lovingly restored to a high standard throughout, retaining the period features and introducing modern touches such as an Amazon Echo and Smart TVs in all bedrooms. The three beautifully appointed bedrooms sleep six guests in total, with the master bedroom indulging in extra luxury with an en-suite bathroom, complete with roll-top bath and complimentary toiletries. From the kitchen, doors lead out to your own private courtyard with dining facilities, great for spending summer evenings in the midst of nature.
Salomons Estate was built for Sir David Salomon, the first Jewish Lord Mayor of London in the 1850s by architect Decimus Burton. Set within an envious position, there are 36 acres of rolling gardens, parkland and woods surrounding you. Enjoy strolling around the estate on a sunny day following the woodland walk. This is also the perfect place for your four-legged friend too, as the park and cottage are both dog friendly. The main mansion house on the estate is keeping within its original Victorian feel and boasts glorious décor throughout. The site also has a restaurant, bar, 24 hour reception, gym, Salomons Museum, outdoor terrace area and function rooms which host weddings, celebrations and business meetings.
The estate is situated on the edge of the spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells, steeped in history and grand architecture.
