Summary: Very tired, shabby and in need of upgrade ... which they are working on. I read on reviews 'nice views', which i couldn't see through the dirty windows. 'Restaurant on premises' was closed due to renos so we had to go down the windy mountain road into town for dinner and breakfast (The Town Tavern in Banner Elk was excellent). Carpet desperately needs changing. What they could clean they did ... clean comfy bed (but a Murphy bed? how do you clean behind that? You don't! ). New shower curtain ... thank you. Shower head is awf. Linens clean. My suggestion, wait until renos are done and then give it a try ... there's potential
