A Retreat @ Hudson Woods is a luxury oasis nestled in the private woods of Kerhonkson. Nearby breweries, farms, and fine dining restaurants make Kerhonkson is true destination, but the privacy and relaxing nature of A Retreat is a peaceful draw as well.
Located on 8 acres of land in the Hudson Woods development, nestled between the Catskills and Hudson Valley, A Retreat was recently featured in Architectural Digest. The property includes an outdoor garden with fresh herbs and vegetables (accessible in the summer and fall), a natural spring pond, and is surrounded by forest and mountains making for a breathtaking setting and perfect getaway. There's also a brand new custom built cedar hot tub near the pool house!
Garden/Wildflower Meadows: There are two native grass and wildflower meadows, one on the north side of the guest house and another on the south side of the main house. We are working to re-establish these areas by hand weeding and reseeding until the meadow is restored. Note - these areas will not be mowed.
The outdoor herb/ vegetable garden is near the guest house and will have bi-weekly visits on Wednesday's to check the garden. If you are staying in the guest house we ask you PLEASE be sure to shut the vegetable garden door to keep the animals out.

You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in “All-Risk” Damage Protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have big limitations in protection.
With “all-risk” protection, all accidental damage from a guest is covered unless specifically excluded such as, but not limited to, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage.

- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
- Weapons are strictly prohibited
- Please adhere to safety instructions for fireplaces, firepits, etc.
- Due to the risk of fire, please do not charge your electric car on the property.
- We do not allow parties or extra guests outside the maximum occupancy allowed on the reservation. We also ask you to follow the good neighbor guidelines and abide by quiet hours after 9 pm.
- Please do not trespass on property boundaries
- Tents, yurts, and other camping equipment are prohibited
