This Cozy Cottage is a 1920's French Tudor 'Jewel Box' which has been lovingly restored to its original style, but updated with modern amenities! Walk to State Street and theater district and all the finest restaurants.
With oak hardwood flooring throughout, the home has 2 bedrooms and two baths. The en-suite Master bedroom with a Queen bed has french doors opening up to two separate private patios, one with a sunken, in ground Jacuzzi/fountain, the other private fenced patio has fruit trees espaliered along the fences and a beautiful covered entertaining area with a top of the line Lynx gas grill. Gorgeous lovingly designed gardens with mature trees and hedges surround the property, helping to keep it private and serene. The nesting birds offer a riot of song in the spring. The second bedroom has two extra long twin beds. There is a formal dining room with custom made dining table that seats 6, and an eat in area in the kitchen with a lovingly restored 1950's Westin Hollywood antique baker's oven that works well!
A Sub Zero refrigerator and Bosch dishwasher make this kitchen a modern wonder that just looks like something from the past. The living room has extra high, vaulted ceilings with wooden beams exposed keep the house light and bright and a gas fireplace makes it a cozy place to snuggle up with a great novel. Both bedrooms are well sized, and all furniture is custom designed, period correct for the house and and made from the best quality materials. There is small wine cellar with storage, and a huge attic with ample storage. The house has a large two car garage with additional built in closets, storage and work area. The is also an EV hook up already installed. The property is completely secured with gated and buzzer entry, led lights throughout. There is also an organic vegetable garden on a drip system (no maintenance), already planted and producing an array of winter crops for your delight!
