Positive: The view was lovely. The kitchen was nice. It was light and airy. Our upstairs neighbors (in Suite A) were lovely and helpful.
Negative: Parking was an issue. Our one designated spot was not always available. We had to speak with the neighbors to the south to give up our parking spot. The blinds were missing on the west facing big picture window. So there was no way to block the afternoon sun and there was a lack of privacy in the living room. We had to wear sunglasses to enjoy the living room in the afternoons. There wasn't a real floor in the bathroom. It looked like they had torn up the floor and had not replaced it. The baseboards were filthy. The bed was comfortable, but super low. My husband and I are in our 70's, so that was hard for us. The furnace and the gas fire place were so scary we stopped using them. The gas fireplace became too hot to touch after a few minutes of running it. And it made snapping and banging noises. And the heat vents in the bedroom and bathroom also became too hot to touch. We turned that off, too, as we were afraid of a fire. And there was no coffee provided. I have never stayed at any rental where no coffee was provided. If I had not brought a canister of coffee with me, we would have had to go to the store. Also, the living room and kitchen floors were some sort of laminate that looked like wood but was peeling up.
