There are several surrounding picturesque villages, and it’s just a 30 minute drive (or a short train ride) to larger towns, such as Shrewsbury and Ludlow, for shopping, eateries and entertainment.

Summary: We had a lovely week at the cottage. Every thing you could think of was provided to a high standard. The place was immaculate and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. Good walks available from the doorstep and the train station is just across the road. Church Stretton centre is a few minutes walk away and has a good selection of shops, eateries and pubs. The cottage is on a busy road but we were aware of that before booking and I believe this is reflected in the pricing. Highly recommended!
