Nestled on a 15-acre private wildlife estate, with glorious gardens, Art Farmhouse is ideally situated for exploring the iconic Suffolk Coast, Southwold, Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings and beyond.
Art Farmhouse at Yew Tree Farm dates from 1594, and has been transformed by gallery owner, Monica into a stylish, comfortable, well-equipped house. As a Grade II Listed property, so much of the original house remains including original exposed beams throughout, yet it has been meticulously designed to offer a modern setting for families and friends to enjoy.
Eclectic art adorns every wall, beginning in the stunning entrance hallway with a picture window providing stunning views over the surrounding gardens. A generous utility room features boot and coat storage, a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes drying area, fridge freezer and french doors leading to the patio terrace in the garden. The large kitchen comprises an Aga Rangemaster with electric hobs and a double oven, coffee machine (bean to cup, or ground), microwave and dishwasher. The dining area has an open fireplace, there are two large sitting rooms with plenty of comfortable seating; one with a Smart television. The ground floor bedroom can be configured as a king or two singles.
To the first floor are a further two bedrooms, both comfortable King beds. The master benefits from an en-suite bath and shower room. There’s a library, as well as, a mezzanine seating space, and another family bathroom.
Every room provides a view over the surrounding gardens and acres of land, making this a perfect rural retreat for those who adore nature and wildlife.
