Positive: Very good location for doing different activities. Just off main Beach drag. A few restaurants up and down street. Access to beach across the road
Negative: The pillow cases had yellowing marks of heads. Ugh! Bed had thin mattress and hard. Room tight. I solo and tight. Advertising was deceptive. Showed bathroom with the water heater, but when I got there, I was told if I wanted the hot water on, it would cost another 500r a day. The ad also reads balcony with garden view. Technically, that's right, but it's a play on words. There is no balcony off room it's a shared balcony. Garden view a bit of stretch. Bathroom Clean but small and already mentioned the cold water unless you pay. I hired a motor scooter owner said 3000r but I went myself, and the renting owner was incredibly honest and said w500r. The owner of the hotel was very polite but somehow it felt like you were always being watched. I bought water at a shop he said he sells, I went out for dinner he said he can make a meal. This I'm sure all true, but I felt like I was seen as a cash cow. I did extend my stay and negotiated the price down for 2 more days as it was overpriced for size and ad inconsistencies. Just clever play on words which are smart but doesn't build any trust. We all know it's a business relationship, but I found other hotels were what were advertised.
