Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Lovely spacious and comfortable room with private bathroom and view over field. Lovely sociable owner who speaks both English and French fluently. Close to airport so would be good for arriving or leaving Ventiane.
Negative: The second night it rained quite hard (not their fault obviously)but the rain falling on metallic rainwater tank outside was a loud non-stop drumming which stopped me sleeping. I told them it needs fixing but not sure it will happen. There was confusion when I rebooked through Booking.com but it didnt show up on their system. So the room was double booked and I was initially told I had to leave or change room which was unpleasant. The other room was unfinished and had no mattress on the bed. It was eventually sorted out though and I was able to stay in the room.
