Summary: My family ventured to Carlsbad for the first time this fall and this location couldn’t be better. Just a couple hundred yards away from Carlsbad State Beach and just minutes away from Carlsbad Village. This location provides covered, included, parking; big plus for us. I wasn’t sure about an upper level unit but found it was more private than a lower level unit as we left our windows and doors open with no one able to look in as they walked by. There was a bit of noise most of the day into the night but you have to remember you’re on a Blvd. I’ll take the noise because of our proximity to the beach, village and the included parking.Although I gave a rating of 4/5 star, I would stay here again. I mentioned a few things to the owner that I think would enhance the experience of their property( i.e. upgrading cooking utensils, pans and main bedroom bed, tidiness)All in all, it was spacious, lots of cabinets for storage and super close to the beach, shops and eateries.
