Summary: My room, though very small, was clean with good bed pillows, linens and towels. The bath towel was good sized, and both shampoo and conditioner were provided. The heating/cooling worked well, and though only two floors above a courtyard, overall the room was quiet. The suitcase rack was torn making it difficult to balance my bag on it, and I would have liked a bit more shelving. I think two people in this particular room would have been uncomfortable. Overall, the breakfast was good, several hot items, pastries, yogurts, breads, cheeses, meats and juices. The staff was efficient and mostly friendly, a bit of that French aloofness. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city with many little cafes and shops for necessities, food and drugstore items. It’s near a train station and a block from access to the metro line that can take you to many of Paris’ most popular areas directly or with only one change. And the price is very reasonable for Paris.
