Bridge Cottage is a charming little whitewashed cottage right by the wooden footbridge and creek. The cottage is cosy and romantic for couples, a real smugglers hideaway with a fresh, seaside feel, and where at the end of the day you can relax in front of the woodburning stove.

Summary: The location could not be more perfect and with parking, patio and kayaks was amazing. However, compared with other cottages in the local area the interior needs money spent on it. The kitchen looks new but upstairs in particular with 80’s honey pine furniture and bedding and towels that are well washed and not coordinating as well as carpet and walls needing replacing means although we plan to book again in Helford it won’t be here. A relatively small investment (even supermarkets do coordinating bedroom ranges etc) would be then recouped by charging slightly more. This gets booked because of location rather than interior
