This is a beautiful, custom-built home located at the South end of Wallowa Lake. This is a three-story house and you will get to enjoy the middle and top level. The main level, up one flight of stairs immediately upon entering, has a beautiful tree-line view looking out the large picture windows. There is a deck with a view, easily accessible from the kitchen/dining area. The living room has a gas stove, comfortable furniture, and the floor plan is open between the gourmet kitchen, with a large dining room table.
The primary bedroom is located on the middle level and has a door that opens to the hillside. A large jacuzzi tub and a huge walk-in tiled shower make this the favorite place to spend your evenings after a long hike or a day on the lake. There is a bed and a small TV in the bedroom with an electric stove at the foot of the bed. The loft is located up a flight of stairs, where four guests can comfortably sleep. A private bathroom has lots of natural light. The loft is the perfect place for a relaxing evening. The lower part of this home is Arapahoe Lodge Lower #38, available to book for extra guests. Each home has its own private entrance and a shared roof.
Also note that winter may require 4x4 and/or chains and even possibly parking close to the house (call us for info) and using a sled and yak trax and walking to the house. Please call the week of arrival to verify the very best way to access the house. Even in the summer, we recommend you use LOW in an automatic transmission, or 4x4 to not tear up the road as you go up the steeper driveway.
THINGS TO KNOW
Seasonal BBQs are available from Memorial Day through Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.
Bring your slippers because this is a strict no-shoes home.
4WD/traction may be required in winter.
This home does not have a washer/dryer.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”).
