This cozy condo features a family room with a brand new 42" flat screen HDTV for great viewing when not on the slopes. Electric fireplace logs give the look of a real fire with some heating capability. The full kitchen features a high top table with bar chairs and major stainless steel appliances. The location of this property is slightly secluded at the end of the hall with no upstairs neighbors over the master bedroom. Both of these factors result in a quieter stay than with many units. Silver Creek has installed a new HDTV cable system with over 60 channels including 6 HBO offerings and it is amazing!
Thankfully, Covid rates have allowed the return of normal décor items and furnishings that make a property feel more like home than a hotel room. New this year is beautiful blue carpet and a comforter set for the master bedroom. Pictures are not yet available but will be coming soon. New furnishings always increase the visual appeal of any living space.
The two bedrooms with queen beds comfortably sleep 4. The master bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, features a flat screen TV with CD/video player. The second bedroom is great for kids that need quite at the end of the day. New Beauty Rest bedding was added just prior to the 2018 season! The sofa in the main room folds out into a queen sleeper to provide sleeping space for 2 more guests.
Silver Creek Lodge is the exclusive location on the mountain for the tubing hill and night skiing. Enjoy wide trails with four lifts just outside the doors. Inside, the newly renovated and expanded sports bar, The Locker Room, offers the most TV screens on the mountain and every NFL game each Sunday! There is also an adult only gaming room for high rollers! In addition, Silver Creek has indoor-outdoor pools and hot tubs (residents only), the Bear's Den for fast food throughout the day, a small fitness center, and ski/snowboard rentals right in the building. No other property at Snowshoe Mountain offers you more amenities and options under one roof!
This unit was managed by Snowshoe until 2015 when the owner moved to rentals through VRBO. The goal is to provide Silver Creek visitors an affordable option with a personal touch. All services such as housekeeping and maintenance are provided on-site by Silver Creek personnel. Since the condo was placed on VRBO, reviews are 5-star ratings with the exception of 2, 4-star ratings. We work very hard to earn those stars! You won't be disappointed.
