Positive: We enjoyed a lovely fortnight in this apartment on La Torre Golf Resort. Apartment was perfect for our needs and had everything we wanted. We loved sitting on the balcony in the sun in the morning watching the golfers & we found it to be a quiet block, peaceful at night. We only shared the pool area with a few other people & it was still a good temperature for swimming in, although weather was still in the high 20s. The apartment is a short walk from the bars & restaurants on site. We enjoyed the Indian, Chip shop, Chinese & Italian and also Pinos bar had different nights on including bingo, karaoke & singers. There is also an Irish bar, the Blue Collar & the Lakeside Bar & a snack shack. There’s paddle tennis, table tennis, basketball, football, outdoor sports equipment dotted around and kids play parks. You can go to the Hilton hotel for their buffet breakfast, €18 each (that’s including a 10% discount with your wristband). For days out, we took a taxi to the Balsicas train station (10 mins) and went to Cartagena & Murcia (old towns both lovely & well worth a visit). There is no public transport at La Torre so you either need to hire a car or take a taxi. La Torre is a beautiful, well kept resort and we will return for sure. Thanks very much to Wendy for our late check out too, very kind of you.
