Positive: Great location, the photos don't really tell you what you're getting. It's a one bedroom apartment with a balcony in a block, with secure underground parking and ground level access to the rear of the block. It's a nice environment and feels safe. Just up the road is the boulangerie and a Carrefour city supermarket. The apartment is nice but not stunning, however the balcony was a nice place to sit for breakfast or with a G&T before going out, but you aren't there for the apartment, you're there to be out in Angers and it's surroundings. The flat is literally 10 minutes leisurely walk through the Mail Gardens to the main square, via the bus stops. The Castle is 20 mins. From that perspective it is a great find and we had a great time there for a few days. Regardless of the other comments, I would recommend this for a city stay.
Negative: Minor things really. Getting the keys is unusual but isn't bad - you get some videos that explain everything very well. There isn't a lot of space, and no storage in the bedroom - there are enough shelves and hanging in the hallway, and the bathroom is large. Just enough cups, glasses, pans etc. but you need the right types of pods for the coffee machine.some more comfortable chairs on the balcony would be nice.
