Summary: What makes some accommodations better than others? The biggest factor is the owners. Christian and Angela are Star Plus owners. They communicated with us throughout our booking, stay and departure. Location, location, location!!!!! We love Redding because it offers everything we look for: walking and hiking trails, biking, fishing and skiing (when there’s snow!). And, from 991 Center Street, you can leave the car keys at home. We walked to the sundial bridge, enjoyed an evening of music and wine at the Branch House, walked to the dam and back, fished numerous gravel bars on the ‘Sac”. All without getting in the car. The chamber of commerce was within walking distance and were a great source of information. And, when we had a mechanical problem with our car, an autop mechanic shop is 2 blocks away. We dropped he car for the day, walked home and enjoyed our day. If you enjoy outdoor activities, Redding should be at the top of your list. And, this house is the perfect location to explore from. Five star Plus!
