Grove Place is located in the heart of Padstow old town, yet this cosy cottage is positioned towards the end of the pedestrian mews so is quiet and away from the street. Enter the cottage via a small south facing enclosed gated courtyard with table and two chairs. Open the stable door, (complete with delightful ‘bee’ door knocker!) to enter the kitchen, dining area and lounge. The very well laid out ground floor of the cottage is open plan. The modern gloss white kitchen is fully equipped with washer/dryer, two ring electric hob, cooker, microwave, slimline dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster and kettle. Quality built in Smeg, Dualit and Hoover appliances have been installed. There is a wooden table and two chairs for dining. Sit back and relax on the delightful two seater retro leather sofa, or the spotty Laura Ashley armchair plus foot stool and cosy rug. Be entertained with the Samsung smart LED television or Bluetooth speaker for playing music from your handheld devices. There are a couple of side tables and coffee table, plus a shoe storage unit and coat hooks. Mini LED plinth lighting, quirky beach hut fairy lights and dimable mood lighting add a special touch to the ground floor as well as useful USB power sockets, located both upstairs and downstairs to conveniently charge mobile phones and tablets. There is free WIFI access.
Upstairs, the double bedroom has a beautiful feature freestanding bath with mood lighting. White waffle bathrobes are supplied giving a boutique hotel vibe! The quality egyptian cotton bed linen, bath towels and robes are exclusively embroidered with the Honeybee Cottage logo.
In addition to the freestanding bath, there is a separate contemporary shower room, including a walk in modern shower cubicle with double Grohe shower head, toilet and hand basin with under counter drawer.
