Positive: Upon arrival, keys were easy to get via a step by step guide. Upon entry, the apt was as advertised - clean and with all amenities. The hosts had left a bread board, candies, and a bottle of champagne(or sparkling wine) for us. The hosts were kind enough to check in with us several times and dropped off some homemade crepes a few times -- very considerate! Wifi was available and good. Though the location was outside of Paris, it was adjacent to a cafe/bar, pattisierie, metro station, and grocery store. The metro station was about a 30 minute ride to downtown Paris - this stop had stairs down, and an escalator up -- I walk with a cane and found this station more manageable than a lot of the others. Overall an excellent option to stay at, that was easier on the budget, and was still imo in a good location.
Negative: These were all pretty minor issues(to us, at least), but may help others. Upon entry, there was an old building musty type of smell that was a bit off-putting at first and then not really noticeable after the first day or so(and not in the apartment itself). I walk with a cane and dislike stairs, but managed the inside flight of stairs to the apartment well enough with the handrail and caution. Some items showed some wear and tear - a couple cupboard doors were misaligned and the fridge's freezer door had been partially broken resulting in it still working but a little harder to open and close. The streets were mostly quiet, but a couple of late night noises from partying pedestrians, and early morning traffic - this could be fixed by shutting all of the windows, but with no A/C it was better to have the windows open and shut them when the noise started in the morning. Truly trivial issues overall for us.
Summary: Great place to stay, and would stay again.
