Just a short stroll from Falmouth's picturesque harbour and a 10 minute walk from Gyllyngvase Beach, our beautiful Grade II Listed period home with original features is a great central base for exploring the local area and enjoying all that Falmouth has to offer. The property has 3 bedrooms that comfortable sleeps 6 guests along with a sofa bed and trundle bed to accommodate a further 4 guests upon request.
The Space:
The Sailing Capital of Cornwall, Falmouth hosts its annual sailing regatta every August and is bustling with costal delights. Sailing fans can take boat trips, seafood lovers can enjoy fresh local produce in one of the many fish restaurants and for those who enjoy a touch of history the 16th century Pendennis Castle sits above the harbour and has amazing views over the bay. You can visit the stunning seaside town off St Makes on the other side of the Carrick Roads estuary by taking the Fal River Link Ferry and you're never far away from somewhere that serves a cream tea!
Our charming 3 bedroom ground floor apartment has its own private secluded garden, perfect for outdoor dining and enjoying the Cornish sunshine.
The main entrance hallway leads onto the spacious living room overlooking the garden with floor to ceiling windows, flooding the room with light. There is also a patio door allowing direct access to the garden. The large kitchen, also with access to the garden, has all the mod cons you would need to rustle up a delicious home cooked meal and enjoy quality family time around the dining table.
Bedroom 1 has a king sized bed with an additional trundle bed - ideal for 2 adults and 2 children.
Bedroom 2 features a double bed with a double sofa bed, again ideal for 2 adults and 2 children.
Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds.
The property has 2 bathrooms, one with a roll top bath and the second is a modern shower room with twin sinks.

Summary: Great central location, lovely ground floor period flat set back from road, short walk to restaurants and beach, bonus of mature garden and parking. Accommodation is spacious as per photos. 3 adults stayed but it could easily accommodate 3 couples. The parking spaces are shared with 2 other flats so difficult to manoeuvre our large estate car (parking on road easier). Some maintenance issues which we flagged with WeStay so hopefully other guests will find everything in order. Some evening noise from upstairs flat but it didn’t really impact on us (might do if children going to bed early).
