Welcome to a place to relax with your whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom mobile home that you will have full access to with whoever you bring with you. Enjoy the beautiful stone stove surround in the open concept full kitchen and living room area, multiple seating areas to play games or work puzzles while keeping a table clear for dining, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer to keep up with laundry if you prefer to take clean clothes home instead of a bag of dirty laundry! You will feel right at home with as many of the things needed for daily living provided including cookware, bakeware, kitchen appliances, shampoo and conditioner, and linens as well.
Please note the following tidbits that may help with expectations for this house:
1- this location is next to a farm. You may hear cows, chickens, roosters, or other farm animals if you listen closely. I do not hear them from inside the house unless I’m totally silent, but if I step outside I can easily enjoy the sounds I grew up with. If you do not enjoy these noises- there is a window unit provided in the living area that will easily drown out these sounds.
2- there are no electronics provided at this location. There is wifi, and you are more than welcome to bring any electronics you wish with you and connect them to the wifi. There are multiple books, a collection of puzzles, and board games available. Domino’s and card games are some of the most requested items here, and we would love to provide them for you!
3- this is a single level house with a ramp access for ease of access. The porch was built to minimize the size of the step into the house. We have intentionally tried to make this location easily accessible- with intentional flooring considerations that make it easy to navigate with a walker or wheelchair. The door frames to the bedrooms are 32 inches wide. The only step would be the one from the porch Into the house- I will update with an accurate measurement later- but from memory I am guessing it would be a 4inch step up.
4- please note that there are 2 mobile homes on this property. This is the second house- so you would turn in the driveway, drive past the first house, and your stay would be in the second house. (If you need more space than this house provides- please let me know and if the first house is empty as well we can talk about booking both)
