Note: This lake home is right on the main channel so it has water and a spectacular water view all year-round. The Tennesse Valley Authority (TVA) drains the lake down in the fall and winter (Sept to early April) such that sections of the lake that are in coves are so drained down that most coves on the lake are dry (no water) late November to January. TVA fills the lake back up in early April. It is usually completely filled back up by the end of April.
