Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property was aesthetically very pleasing, very spacious, good quality appliances, comfortable and in a good location. The beach was a short walk away as well as the local shops and restaurants. Nearby towns Anstruther and Pittenweem were a short drive and St Andrews only 20mins away.

Negative: During our stay there was not enough dish soap or dishwasher tablets and we weren’t advised before hand to bring our own. Also, none of the waste bins had been emptied and there were bags of rubbish already sitting next to the bins in the back garden. There was no information in the booklet provided regarding the bin collection or recycling guidance.

Summary: Would definitely return to The Crab Shack and highly recommend to others
