Positive: Charming environment. The lobby/guest sitting area is more like a living room that people are attracted to and want to use. There is a welcoming fire in the fireplace.
Negative: It is an older place, so you need to be OK with room windows that let in some outside noise. Some rooms over the courtyard are situated just above a walkway to the courtyard that guests and staff use frequently. But the rooms are charming.
Summary: A beautiful and comfortable retreat with friendly staff, great breakfasts and a big welcome mat for guests' dogs.
