Welcome to your dream desert getaway! Escape the city with family and friends to this ranch-style homestead. Perfect for quality time and soaking up the sun and the mineral waters. Enjoy this one of a kind 4-bedroom home at Sky Valley Resort, a hidden gem just 30 minutes outside of Palm Springs.
This sprawling family style home is the ultimate vacation home. Guests are welcome to use all 13 mineral pools and spas and all the resort amenities. You are welcome to view our other 5 star homes at Sky Valley under my profile for guest experience reviews.
SAFETY:
Our home is professionally cleaned and sanitized before and after each guest group to ensure you have a safe experience.
HOUSE:
This is the premiere home at Sky Valley Resort with four bedrooms (a king, two queens and two twins) and two bathrooms.
The home opens to a cozy den with a reading nook and desk with formal dining room and bar area. The kitchen is spacious with dishwasher and new appliances and is fully equipped with every cooking necessity. The living room is huge with wall to wall windows showcasing the desert and mountain beauty.
The living space opens to a large private backyard with lounging and dining space complete with BBQ for summer nights under the stars.
The home is fully stocked with books, games, puzzles, tennis, pickleball and pool toys so you can fully enjoy your vacation in the desert without ever leaving the resort.
RESORT:
Sky Valley Resort is the desert's best kept secret. Tiny houses and midcentury style homes meander around the lakes and trails. There are 13 natural mineral pools in addition to hiking trails, tennis, pickle ball and basketball courts. There is even a farmer's market every Wednesday and a little market + cafe open daily.
INTERNET + CELL SERVICE:
AT&T gets super spotty service here. Our internet is strong so you can use your phone on wifi if you need to. Verizon/Sprint work great!
CHEF SERVICE:
There is no postmates/uber eats however there is a chef in the community that does delicious dinners brought right to your door. You can order ahead (they sell out every day!) and it is around $15 plus dessert.
MASSAGE SERVICE:
Another one of our lovely neighbors provides on site massages that you can book ahead of time. She is amazing!

Sky Valley is a secure, gated community. You will be provided a gate code upon your arrival. Parking available for two cars in driveway. The resort is very walkable and bike friendly. Most residents use their golf carts to get around. Golf carts are available for guest rental during the season September-May annually.

Sky Valley is a peaceful place with rows of tiny houses and manufactured homes meandering along pretty lakes with black swans and serene mineral pools.
You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere! You are 30 minutes from Palm Springs where you can go to the store, Target, Trader Joes etc. You will either need to pick up your groceries ahead of time or you can easily have them delivered from Vons or Stater Brothers on instacart.
This is a quiet & serene community of vacationers and permanent residents in the beautiful Sky Valley resort. If you are looking for a place to get loud and party, this spot may not be for you. The community appreciates peace and quiet at all times and in all locations. Guests must be 25 years old to book and provide a valid photo ID. Guests will sign the resort rental agreement prior to their arrival.

Summary: We enjoyed the spacious and modernized property in the desert. The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms felt like staying at an upscale hotel. The quiet neighborhood and community center (pool) made for a relaxing stay. And the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me, including mailing back an item that I forgot at the property after check-out!
