Positive: I liked that the street was very quiet, and its proximity to the seaside, the canoe lake with the birds, Appley Tower. It wasn't a huge distance from the hoverport, train/bus station or the shops either. I like the old-fashioned character to the interior of the house, and the kitchen was well kitted out. Everything was spotlessly clean throughout. It was very easy to find.
Negative: The telly was rather small for the size of the room, especially as my Dad requires subtitles. The EE internet service went down about 20x during my stay, which wasn't terrible, but hardly wonderful. The bed was squeaky. The 1800s decor was a little gloomy, and I'm not wild about paintings of fish heads and shipwrecks. The 15 stairs were very steep. The flat number was on a tiny plate near the drainpipe covered with leaves (fortunately, the neighbours had clear numbers displayed).
Summary: Quiet, quaint, relaxing, easy to find. Nice kitchen equipment.
