Stroll on the sandy beach at Low Newton (2.3 miles) with its beachside pub, just perfect for a lunch stop, and walk past Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course to Embleton Bay (2.6 miles) for a family picnic and kite flying. Head to Beadnell Bay via the coastal path for more stunning shoreline scenery, water sports and rock pooling. and enjoy Beadnell village where there is a beach café, two pubs/restaurants and the café/bistro. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses (7 miles) and spend a memorable day at Alnwick Castle and Gardens (7.1 miles), or Bamburgh Castle (9.6 miles)
