Positive: Absolutely beautiful setting - the views from the lodge are unmatched. The family running the homestay are very warm and kind, and the breakfast pho was one of the best we have had in all of Vietnam! Ta Van itself is a lovely village and we’re so glad we stayed here rather than Sapa. We did the day trek organised by the homestay with lovely guide Mimi and it was amazing!
