Welcome to Casa Californica! We look forward to hosting and providing a comfortable, convenient, and fun stay for you in our Los Angeles-based home. We have taken special care in thoughtfully curating an authentic Los Angeles/California experience for you in our cozy 2-bedroom sanctuary in the city. You will be greeted by an entry garden of California Native plants that provide private screening on our front porch, one of our 2 outdoor spaces to enjoy. Inside you will find an eclectic mix of California style in each room with all the amenities needed for up to four guests. Even a playhouse in the back yard for tea parties for kids and kids at heart.
Our bright California/Spanish-style living room provides comfortable seating with a 55-inch television. Full spa bathroom has shower and tub. The main bedroom provides a peaceful California nature-inspired setting with queen bed and window that opens onto the front yard garden. Second bedroom has easy stair-access twin bunkbeds set in a desert theme with plenty of closet and storage space. And the California-style Kitchen has full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen is fully stocked for all cooking and serving needs, including toaster oven and Keurig coffee maker. Private Backyard includes seating for outdoor dining and relaxation, fountain, as well as that fun playhouse.
Monrovia is a community-based city with a world-renowned downtown. You may have even seen it used as a backdrop in many tv shows and movies throughout the years. A wide variety of restaurants, pubs, breweries, parks, shops, and festivals happen here, as well as one of the largest farmers markets in LA every Friday evening. All this within a few minutes’ drive. The metro station is just 1 walkable mile away from our home and connects to all metro locations within the greater Los Angeles area. Local attractions include the Irwindale Speedway (1.4 Miles), Annual Renaissance Fair at the Santa Fe Dam (4.6 Miles), and the Santa Anita Racetrack and Westfield shopping center (4.6 Miles). The city of Pasadena is a 10-minute drive and hosts Rose Bowl events and the Tournament of Roses Parade every New Year’s Day. You will even find multiple hiking trails minutes away from our location and quick access to local freeways. Our central location even provides 30-minute driving access to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, and Hollywood areas.
