Positive: The location was fantastic, just a short walk on a footpath to the village of Hawkshead which is really something. Three good pubs, all serving food and other amenities, including the essential Co-Op. Car parking is easy. View from the lounge window was stunning.

Negative: Not much, garden furniture had seen better days and the grounds could do with a little TLC.

Summary: Fantastic location if you want somewhere quiet and tranquil but close to a village.
