Positive: Hippo Lodge Apartments is in a good location in St Lucia, making it convenient for exploring the area. We arrived late and collected our keys from a neighbouring hotel, which was a simple and straightforward process. The room was basic but adequate, providing everything we needed for an overnight stay. Although the property isn’t gated, our car felt safe as it was parked right outside the accommodation and monitored by security. The front door was a little broken, but it didn’t impact our stay significantly. When we arrived, I was concerned about potential noise affecting our sleep, but the neighbouring restaurants seem to close quite early at night, which allowed for a peaceful sleep. Overall, a simple and practical option for a short stop.
