Positive: A few nice options to go out for dinner within walking distance, and a small park round the corner from the accommodation for some fresh air. The beds and sofa were really comfy and it was decorated nicely. Bathroom was lovely and clean, although the shower could maybe do with some drain unblocker.
Negative: The thermostat didn't work, I messaged the host about this which they initially responded to, to confirm the location of the thermostat but then didn't respond again when I said it wasn't working. I managed to get a fire going to warm the house as wood and kindling had been provided but on this note no fire lighters or anything to get the fire going had been provided (luckily I have a wood burner at home so was able to be creative to get a fire going). Could also do with some more basics in the kitchen like milk, oil etc. and I couldn't locate any cereal bowls.
Summary: Very quirky, comfortable stay. Good value for money
