We have fulfilled our dream of a holiday apartment in our house.
We live on the ground floor. On the first floor there are three private rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining and reading room. The private rooms are rented individually, thus kitchen, bathroom, dining and reading room are shared. You also have access to our large roof terrace, which gives you a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and the opportunity for a barbecue or a cozy get-together.
Through the corridor on this floor you reach the upper floor, which can be rented as a single apartment.
Our entire accommodation can accommodate up to 14 people.
Your four-legged friends are welcome by appointment.
A relaxing weekend getaway, short break, to escape from everyday life or the deserved annual leave nothing stands in the way.

Mariaroth is a tranquil and quiet hamlet, which was built on a former monastery. It is surrounded by forests, through which several premium hiking and biking trails lead. Koblenz and Boppard are each about 16 km away. Bakeries, banks, restaurants, other cozy pubs and the tourist office, as well as a supermarket are located in Waldesch 2.5 km away.

Summary: Several months ago, I was planning to visit Europe for a month for a specific personal reason, plus a little leisure time. Since I was going alone and leisure was secondary ... I wanted to stay as inexpensively as possible. I booked Robert's place, knowing nothing about the location and region. But ... what a wonderful surprise. The rental was exactly as advertised . It is a very nice place, an exceptional value ... and the wonderful region turned out to be a beautiful bonus for me. A beautiful country setting near all the attractions of the Rhein River and virtually in the heart of the Mosel River wine country. Great for Rhein castle exploration, river cruising and general small village and country sightseeing. The rental was well maintained and perfect for my purposes. It is in the country, so a car is virtually necessary. But only about a 15 minute drive to Koblenz. Owner Robert was kind, and exceptionally helpful to me on several occasions during my month-long stay. I would say, however, that his place is probably more suitable for a stay of a week or less ... unless you have a definite castleing plan .. or a plan to actively hike the beautiful surrounding area. Quaint peaceful area ... good house ... and nice owner. I hope to return some day.
