Stunning mountain views, lush forestry, and a gorgeous creek envelop our guests in nature's surrounding beauty all while being located just 5 minutes from the town of Idaho Springs. Fantastic workspace with amazing wi-fi. Relax in front of our cozy wood-burning fireplace. Charmingly rustic with cozy and inviting furnishings, this condo has had minor renovations and is refreshing and very clean. A perfect respite for a single traveler or even a romantic haven for 2.
The space
The condo is PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED w/ disinfectant & HEPA-3 air purifier after each guest. =)This condo has fun games & books.
No pets allowed on the property. If we discover that you have brought an animal onto our property in violation of our policies, you will be required to leave immediately, and no refund will be given. No exceptions.
No campfires of any kind are allowed.
No parties or loud events will be authorized. In the unfortunate event that you disrupt the guests in a neighboring cabin, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. No exceptions.
Guest access
This condo is part of a larger property with many cabins. The rest of the property is off limits at all times, as all other cabins and condos have either long or short term tenants living in them. Please do not disturb them. If you are looking for a stay in the middle of the forest, that is very private, this is not it - as noted it is on a large property, but there are many other cabins on the property in addition to this one. Always contact us via the VRBO app for assistance! By booking this listing, your access is for the Sandstone Condo, and not the surrounding cabins.
Other things to note
We cannot guarantee that we can answer the phone at all hours of the day and night if you call. We have one phone, and the person who answers the phone cannot be awake 24 hours a day/7 days a week. If you need anything whatsoever during your stay, you must message us via the VRBO app. That is the only way we can guarantee a response. We have several staff members who monitor the messages, and can most promptly assist you in that manner.
We do not allow smoking or incense of any kind inside the condo. If you plan to smoke, please do so outdoors, with the condo doors & windows closed. If we discover this rule has been broken, we will need to collect $500 in damages to have the condo fumigated.
Guests, please note that this condo was built many, many years ago. Although it has had many beautiful updates done, it is an old building and is not ADA compliant. Some of its features may not be to current building code, but are consistent to its year of construction.
There have been sightings of bear, mountain lion, deer, elk, moose, and foxes in the area. This is their home too. Please make sure to bring all food inside at night. Do not sleep with the doors open. Animals can be curious!
Enter the creek at your own risk! We are not responsible if you injure yourself by going in the water. We do not recommend that you enter the creek, as it could be unsafe.
