Summary: Great stay for the week. Pros - in the trees, but close enough to everything. Very clean place and hot tub was great. Lots of towels and extra linens. Beds were pretty comfortable. Cons - sitting outside you could still hear a little road noise. The cabin is a short drive off Wears Valley road, but it’s fairly steep (not terrible) so in icy conditions it could be dicey. It’s a loft so no actual bedroom and there are big windows at the back and a smaller window at the front that will definitely wake you up at dawn so bring an eye mask if this might bother you. Also any noise made in the cabin will be heard throughout (snoring) so keep that in mind. Minimal dishes in the kitchen and there were no spices, condiments, etc so you will have to bring your own (even salt and pepper). This is unusual compared to where we live on the west coast. All in all it was a very pleasant stay!
