Positive: The location of the property was spectacular! The yard outside, the covered deck, and the river being on the property were such nice features. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and had plenty of space for our whole family. The kitchen left nothing to be desired and the good collection of board games made for a fun family time! The neighborhood was quiet and we could enjoy the sound of the river.
Negative: When we arrived, it seemed that the sheets and pillowcases on the beds had not been changed. There were old coffee grounds in the coffee maker and the water faucet was very wobbly. There were some household things that were not functioning like lamps and lights. There were also several cobwebs throughout the property, especially upstairs in the bedrooms and bathroom. When opening the windows to let some cool air in, they were very dirty and filled with cobwebs and bugs. The outside of the house, including the deck and outdoor chairs, was covered in cobwebs. Some of the outdoor furniture was rickety and didn’t seem sturdy.
Summary: We had a lovely stay and overall really enjoyed the property but it needed some maintainence and cleaning.
