Summary: The house is very welcoming but it feels a bit more "gites" than I had expected. The view to the sea is lovely but fairly restricted by trees from the first floor apartment. The owner's welcome was excellent, Laurence explained everything and then left us in peace, which we liked. We loved the view and the smell of cows from the farm next door (childhood memories). Normally we wouldn't need 2 apartments but in this case, as my husband was on zoom calls a lot, it worked well as he could isolate himself in one apartment and my family and I could use the other one. The internet was very good. The proximity of oyster shacks was a bonus, as I love oysters.
