The Carefree Getaway is our 1,100 square foot guest house. At a quarter of a mile from the foot of Black Mountain we are ideally and uniquely situated such that we have a front and center view of this amazing landmark without being in the shadow of the mountain during sunrise or sunset. Golfers especially appreciate our location right across the street from the famous Boulders Resort and Golf Course. All of our guests enjoy a separate and keyless entrance including a charming bridge leading to the casita’s front door. The tangerine tree in direct view of the door is home to several hummingbird families and they can often be seen flitting happily about.
Come into your home away from home to an open concept living area, which includes 2 luxurious leather sofas, 2 flat screen televisions, a dining table, a working gas fireplace, and a kitchenette equipped with everything to make your stay more comfortable.
You can be assured that your stay will have an environment that even those with allergies can be at ease in. All water flowing through the casita has passed through the best water softener and carbon filtration system on the market and our air purifying machines use filters with a micro-particle rating of 1500.
For those guests who like to to travel with their gadgets, we have newly installed 6 electrical outlets with charging capabilities (including C adaptors) for all your smart phones, laptops, etc. all over the living room, kitchenette, and bedroom. The night table next to the bed also includes a dual smartphone dock, alarm clock, and radio in one station.
You will feel rejuvenated when you wake up to spectacular views in the master bedroom with 2 large picture windows facing Black Mountain directly in front, and Elephant Mountain on the right side in the distance.
As relaxing and peaceful as the space is, it is also just a short 4 to 7 minutes away from the best restaurants, bars, amenities and activities in Carefree and Cave Creek. We have direct access to Tom Darlington/Scottsdale Road, so traveling to and from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, Scottsdale, and even central Phoenix is very convenient.
