Summary: The concept of Mason's is great, but I don't know if it's worth the stay. You can experience everything within one day. We stayed at the lodge for three days. Out of those three days, we stayed one day onsite and took part in the elephant safari and the washing of the elephants. The other days were spent off-site experiencing Bali/ Ubud. I had other friends in Bali around the same time who went to the zoo and could do more than we did at Mason's.
