WELCOME
Hi! Welcome to my beautiful place in the coolest part of Boston! Mine is a well-appointed two-story townhome on a quiet street in fabulous JP. My place has its own off-street parking spot, beautiful windows and light, central heat and air conditioning, and all modern appliances including dishwasher, garbage disposal, gas stove and oven, microwave, and even instant hot water! (Please note that my house is not child-friendly and is available for two people maximum.)
I have listed my place on another platform since 2020 . Had a technical glitch with Airbnb, so decided to list on VRBO. I have 66 reviews and a 4.92 rating. Here are a couple of recent reviews:

Cindy’s place is in a great location for easy access to Jamaica Plain, Arnold Arboretum, and Faulkner Hospital. It’s very comfortable for two people with a well-appointed kitchen, comfortable bed, and appealing decor. It’s surprisingly quiet for being in an urban neighborhood. The off-street parking space is a boon. And it’s an easy walk to the center of JP, which has lots of restaurants and a couple of ice cream shops.

We have stayed at Cindy’s place many times now, when we come to Boston to visit family. We love the house, its cozy and beautiful decor, the parking spot, the proximity to Center Street and the Arboretum. It really is a special place. It’s a bit of a splurge for us each time but I have begun planning our trips to JP around when Cindy is going to be away and renting her place out. This time I wasn’t feeling well but felt like I could make the trip because I knew the house would be a good place to hole up and rest. I might have canceled the trip otherwise.
ABOUT ME
I am a musician, and when I'm out of town for work or touring, I offer my place to people who want to spend time in Boston. This is actually my own house where I live, so my personal things are in it, including a keyboard and a decent guitar in the living room in case you feel like practicing.
ACCESS
You have the whole house with two private entrances and your own off-street parking place!
INTERNET
My house doesn't have a TV, but there is excellent wifi internet throughout the house that works great for me for streaming. I also have ethernet connections in the bedroom and in the living room.
THE SPACE
The downstairs is an open plan kitchen, dining room and living room with a very comfortable leather sofa, beautiful artwork, and great lighting. If you like to cook, my kitchen is small but mighty. It is well-supplied with plenty of good cookware, knives, spices, oil, cutting boards, etc. The kitchen table is counter height and can be used as extra work space. (Please do not use any metal utensils on the non-stick cookware. Please don't scrub non-stick cookware with anything abrasive, and don't put the chef knives in the dishwasher. Thanks!)
WHERE YOU WILL SLEEP
The bedroom and bathroom are up a short flight of stairs with a hand rail on one side only. Although I have two bedrooms, I only list one, because the other one is used for storage when I am out of town. The bedroom where you will stay has a comfortable queen-sized bed with nice linens, lots of windows that open, and stylish blackout curtains keep out light and insulate for sound, too. There is an empty dresser and closet so you have room to unpack.
ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Jamaica Plain is the coolest part of Boston. "JP" has lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques, all within walking distance from my house. There are beautiful parks and trails all around this neighborhood, and the people are very friendly. You will love it here! Don't forget to check out the Arnold Arboretum, which is about 2 blocks from my front door. So pretty!
GETTING AROUND
I am a short walk to the 39 Bus Line and about a 12-minute walk to the Forest Hills MBTA (public transit) Station, where you can access the Orange Line, the Commuter Rail, and various other buses. It's a very convenient place to be!

P.S. If you're not from Boston, then you probably think the cleaning fee is high. FYI, 100% of the fee goes directly to a woman-owned small business. They provide their own supplies and tools and do all the laundry every cleaning. The company is reliable and does a fantastic job, and this is a competitive but fair wage for this area.
