Highlights include sweeping mountain vistas, a recently renovated bathroom with his & hers sinks, a bunk bed with a trundle, board games including giant scrabble, a high-tech massage chair, a giant sectional couch, and a modern, fully-equipped kitchen. Soak in the crisp mountain air in the large yard with seasonal flower beds, an outdoor dining space, propane grill, and an outdoor fire pit.
The recently renovated kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, stovetop, and microwave. It is fully equipped with pots, pans, spices, and cooking utensils – everything you need for preparing large, family dinners. The dining room table seats up to 6 people, plus 3 barstools on the kitchen island. Kid friendly plates and silverware, plus a highchair, is available upon request!
High-speed WiFi internet lets you watch Netflix at night while cuddled up next to the indoor fireplace. During the day, work from home from the spacious desk and ergonomic office chair. Or better yet, take your laptop onto the outdoor patio to enjoy the views while answering emails.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS -----------------------------------------------------------
The Master Bedroom features a luxurious Queen-sized bed with soft linens, spa robes, and a flat-screen TV with Netflix.
The Den is where you will find an adult-rated bunk bed with two full-size beds and a twin trundle underneath. Reading lights on the top and bottom bunks encourage late-night reading sessions, while not disturbing others.
Guests will have secure, private access to the entire living space. This includes one bedroom, a den with a trundle and bunk bed, a large living room, a spacious dining area, one bathroom, and a modern kitchen. The space also includes a private patio and a large yard with seasonal flower beds, a propane grill, and an outdoor dining space. Use of the washer and dryer is available for laundry upon request!
Please note that we can only accommodate three guest vehicles per booking.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We are a family oriented, but please be mindful of your children as there are several steep drop-offs at the edge of the yard that could be dangerous for little children.

Due to our mountain location, guests are encouraged to drive a vehicle. Ride share options, like Uber and Lyft, are available but the number of drivers can be limited. You will have access to three designated parking spaces directly in front of your private entrance. Please note that we can only accommodate three guest vehicles per booking.

Husband and wife, Richard and Carissa, live on the top floor with a separate deck and separate entrance. Richard has worked as a rafting guide on the French Broad River for the past 15 years. Carissa moved to Marshall in 2019 to open a short-term rental so she could share her love for North Carolina with guests from around the world. Carissa has worked in hospitality for the past 8 years and is passionate about helping her guests find the best hikes, breweries, cafes, and restaurants.
