Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great location for exploring Marazion and west Cornwall. The house is a good size and well equipped with great views over to St Michael's Mount. The master bedroom (upstairs) had a lovely new ensuite with freestanding bath and power shower. Handy shortcut to the shops/beach etc. at the back of the property through the pub car park.
Negative: The house does feel a little dated, the downstairs living area and bathroom in particular could do with a refresh. The biggest down side to this property has got to be the access and parking. The road leading up to the cottage was very narrow with a tight turn at the top. Parking on the drive was difficult due to the narrow road and narrow entrance to the driveway. We just about managed to get our car in on day one (Volvo XC90) but we then asked if we could park in the pub/hotel car park as it just wasn't practical getting the car in and out. The staff at the pub were really friendly and let us use the car park for the week. This made access so much easier.
