Sip your morning coffee underneath a wisteria tree while watching chickens graze the private and fenced in garden. This 1-bedroom + bathroom + living room + kitchenette is located on the ground floor of a North Portland home. The owner lives on the upper floor but you each have your own private entrances.
The space: You have everything you need to just relax after a long day of exploring, or cozy up inside and cook a delicious meal. King bed, bathtub, plenty of windows that open, and french doors that open into the garden. Fresh mint growing in the yard is yours to pick. King sized bed, big screen TV, fast WIFI, laundry, fridge, electric fireplace, and full bathroom with tub. Please note - the owner has cats that do not go into your apartment, but they do get the zoomies sometimes and you might hear their pitter-patter paws. They are also very friendly and may try to say hello.
The neighborhood: Quiet, safe, walkable. Walkable to Max line (local train) and New Seasons Grocery. Peninsula Park, Portland's original rose garden is a great place to run or have a picnic. Mississippi Avenue is my favorite Portland street to stroll along and find yummy restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops.
