Summary: We had a great stay in Le Barcarès. The property was extremely clean and the host was very attentive. We had what we needed and it was lovely to be situated right by a lake. The locals are great, there are shops and restaurants nearby, and lots of options for outdoor sports. We prefer a quieter stay, so our timing from late January until late April worked out really well despite not all local businesses being open. If you prefer a busier vibe then definitely go during the summer months. I'd definitely recommend staying here. It's a great place if you are travelling with children. The area is safe and well lit and there are nearby parks and areas for outdoor sports.
