Guests are personally greeted by Eric and Cécile, Villa Melissa's Owners, upon arrival whom they also show around the complex, the specific rented out unit, and answer any inquiries. They will also provide assistance and help to the Guests throughout the stay.
Kindly note that Electricity is charged within the complex by usage. Villa posted price is not inclusive of Electricity, instead meter reading is taken upon arrival and departure of guests. The consumption is charged 7THB / unit (kWh) consumed.
A security deposit of 15,000 bahts (or USD, GBP, EURO or AUD equivalent) is required upon arrival. These funds will be refunded in full at the time of departure, except in case of damage to the villa.
Animals are forbidden outside as inside the villa and noisy evenings are not allowed for the respect of everyone

Summary: Fantastic villa, located a couple of kms away from Chaweng beach. 5 very well appointed double bedrooms, all with modern decor and furnishings. Good sized freshwater pool. Incredible views from villa and most of the bedrooms. Lots of room for sunbathing & relaxing. Not overlooked by other villas, and what construction is occurring (as it is all over Koh Samui) is not so close as to be intrusive. Very responsive hosts - Eric & Cecile - thank you so much for hosting me and my family (including 4 teenagers, age range 13 to 17). Location is a good base for exploring Koh Samui. Worth noting, the villa is located at the top of quite a steep hill, and not really within walking distance of shops/restaurants/bars, so a 4x4 car is advisable. Our stay at villa Melissa was one of our best family holidays ever, and we would return here in a heartbeat - when booking on VRBO the limited number of reviews did concern me a little, but having experienced it for myself, i would recommend this villa without hesitation!
