Serene retreat amidst a rhododendron forest in Mill Ridge centrally located between Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock. Mill Ridge, located along the Watauga River, offers hiking trails, a pool and tennis courts.
Rhododendron Hill is a recently renovated 3 bedrooms ( king, queen and twin/trundle), and 2 full baths vacation cabin with 2 new decks. Updated kitchen and baths as well as all new furniture.
On the main level, the living and dining area boast a gas log fireplace and flat screen TV providing the perfect ambiance for relaxing. Patio doors open onto the lower deck with outdoor furniture for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or summer and fall evenings. A fully stocked, galley style kitchen and queen bedroom with ensuite bath completes this level.
Upstairs provides a second living/den area with another flat screen TV, and patio doors that open onto the upper deck. Two bedrooms, 1 king, 1 with a twin/trundle bed and a second full bath completes this level.
This is an ideal location for exploring all that Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock offer as well as being a short 15-minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway near mile marker 299.
