Positive: Great location to both beach & downtown San Clemente! Main level and decks are wonderful!
Negative: * We had issues with checkin. Code from app was for one brand of elock, but door is a different brand of elock. Vacasa support gave us new code, but still for wrong brand of elock so it still failed. Had to get physical key from lock box. Working code came next day from Vacasa support. Code from instructions in house for garage door also wrong. Again, for a totally different brand of garage door keypad. Got a new code from Vacasa. Trash closet elock totally non-functional, had to use a physical key. * First morning after checkin, realized fridge front panel controls non-functional, fridge stuck at 25 degrees, perishable food that we bought night before all frozen. Called Vacasa, appliance repair man came in the afternoon and rigged it to 37 degrees. * Not enough kitchen paper towels and dish towels for 8 people staying 3 nights/4 days. * 2nd and 3rd level bedrooms and baths are showing their age. The floors really creak and 2nd level bathroom toilet "howels" while the tank fills after a flush. Wakes up everyone when that bathroom is used at night.
