Accommodation is all on ground level and comprises: Sitting/dining room with beamed ceiling, stone features and a wood burning stove. A well fitted kitchen area and breakfast bar. Bathroom with bath/shower. Two bedrooms - 1 double with ensuite shower and 1 twin room. Heating is by way of electric oil filled radiators, and £10 of electric is included with each booking. Free logs are provided during the colder seasons. The cottage has everything you need.
Steeped in history, this cottage was originally a stables and coach house in the 1700's . The old coach house was the first outside Scarborough to be granted a hackney horse-drawn carriage licence to travel through Forge Valley. In the 1800's the cottage became a Cloggers workshop. The property has retained some of its original features.
